The Best Kept Secret in Scuba Diving is that you can go diving without being certified as long as you train and dive with a Certified Instructor. At A1AScuba we teach the Discover Scuba Diving course which consists of minimal academics, pool training and two ocean dives. You are not scuba certified at that point but you can credit your experience towards the scuba diving certification course if you complete the scuba training school within one year.

Requirements: Read three chapters of the AOW book on Navigation, Buoyancy and Fish ID. Six More Open Water dives in the Ocean with Laura to be completed over a two-three day period.
All of the six dives will focus on Navigation, Fish and Coral Identification and maintaining Neutral Buoyancy. All three objectives are used in diving every time you go and participate in scuba. Underwater
Navigation and maintaining sense of direction where you are going as well as how to get back is important. Fish
and Coral Identification knowing what things are you looking at in terms of fish life and coral species. Neutral
Buoyancy it is the art of floating weightlessly to keep off the environmentally sensitive coral and support your photography efforts by keeping still while hovering in the water without moving so you take the photo opportunity.
Laura Parke’s training credentials are Master
Scuba Diver Trainer and she teaches most of the specialty courses
other than Open Water Certification. She instructs Night Diving,
Drift Diving, Search
and Recovery, Underwater Navigation, Fish/Coral Identification,
Enriched Air Diver, (Nitrox), Wreck Diver and Photography.
Shell collecting and
Treasure Hunting. The best kept fact about diving with Laura
is she is a native of Miami/Ft Lauderdale and is the most knowledgeable
of diving
in the state of Florida as she has spent her life diving the
State.
